Mental Health Community Support Fund 


We are funding Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through the ShareTree Community Support Fund to establish effective and sustainable mental health practices. As 43% – 64% of SMEs typically experience a mental health strain, the current usage of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) stands at a mere 6% and some SMEs can’t afford EAP services. To address this gap in support, ShareTree have developed a Mental Health & Wellbeing Program designed to empower SMEs to improve upon skills, optimise culture and process. This will be achieved through a group learning community that supports, shares and learns from each other, coupled with mental health knowledge, resources and technology solutions to create a significant shift in the following areas:

The Mental Health Fund Program is a 9-week program containing the Mental Health First Responders course. This course is designed to empower people under a DIY model to activate a full mental health and well-being workplace program. 


• Practical Skills Development (3x 3hrs Live Online)
• Train Mental Health First Responders (MHFRs) 1 in every 10-15 people (LIFT, ACT)
• Setup Pulse Setup Emotional Pulse Tech. for Groups
• Connect EAP, Other Professional Services & Resources to Tech
• Optional
• Assess Current Culture/Mental Health Framework

The fund covers (value of support)

1x organisational Culture engagement survey ($299)
3x 3hr Mental Health First Responder Training and online learning platform and resources to implement enterprise solution ($299)
5x 2hr group community workshops to support implementation ($312.50)
3x month subscription to Emotional Pulse app ($375 avg. price)

Total value of support: $1,285.50+GST

For Australian SMEs, the total value of support is subsidised by the ShareTree community support fund with the following contributions:
If you are a for-profit SME - $150 + GST per place
If you are a non-for-profit SME - $75 + GST per place
