Our Commitment
ShareTree is committed to ensuring a safe environment for all users, and especially to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
What we mean by CSAE
For clarity, “child sexual abuse and exploitation” includes any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers children — for example grooming a child for sexual activity, sextortion of a child, trafficking of a child for sex, or other sexual exploitation of a minor. (This aligns with Google Play’s definition.) Google Help
What we mean by CSAM
CSAM (child sexual abuse material) means any visual depiction (photos, videos, computer-generated imagery) of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Sharing or storing such content is illegal and prohibited in our app. Google Help
Standards & Policies
– We do not permit any user-generated content or user behavior that depicts, encourages, or facilitates CSAE or CSAM
– We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for any such content or conduct
– When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM in our app, we will remove it or disable access, and we will comply with all applicable child-safety laws and report to law enforcement when required.
– We monitor the app for suspect behaviors, provide in-app reporting mechanisms, and continually review user reports and logs to identify, respond to, and prevent CSAE risks.
In-App Feedback / Reporting
Users can report concerns or suspicious content directly from within the app. Open the sandwich menu → Chat Support. Here you can send a message directly to our team about any concerns you may have.
